"How to take on this Dragon?" writes Kazantzakis about Zorba. How to face two dragons today, with Nikos Kazantakis and Zorbas, even using the language of comics to re-render the iconic and much-translated novel Life and State of Alexis Zorbas? In addition to having to fight the myth and the dominant image of the character, as embodied by Anthony Quinn in Michalis Kakogianni's film Zorba the Greek? Life, love, God, death, Dionysus, Buddha, Nietzsche, Bergson, Shakespeare, Dante, Rodin...
