Chaniartoon - International Comic & Animation Festival is known to love animation but above all people! For this and this Saturday, at 21:00, we invite you to the Mikis Theodorakis Theater for animation screenings of short films on the subject of refugees and immigrants.

An event held as part of the Refugee Week Greece initiative & festival which will take place this year for the first time in our country, at the initiative of Athens Comics Library, on the occasion of World Refugee Day in June 2022, in collaboration with the British Counterpoints Organization Arts, while it is supported by the organization Comic Relief Across Borders program.

  Co-organizers in this important effort are the Municipality of Chania, Chania Culture KEPPEDIX KAM and the Region of Crete.
