Παίζοντας μια ναυτιλιακή ιστορία της Μεσογείου τον 19ο αιώναΤο παιχνίδι «SeaLiT – Μεσογειακά πλοία και εμπόριο στον μακρύ 19ο αιώνα» είναι ένα διασκεδαστικό και εκπαιδευτικό ταξίδι στον κόσμο της ναυτικής ιστορίας της Μεσογείου και της Μαύρης Θάλασσας κατά τη διάρκεια του 19ου αιώνα, δηλαδή από τη Γαλλική Επανάσταση έως τον Πρώτο Παγκόσμιο Πόλεμο, όπως ορίστηκε από τον ιστορικό Eric Hobsbawm. Στο παιχνίδι οι παίκτες αναλαμβάνουν τον ρόλο των πλοιοκτητών οι οποίοι θα πρέπει να αναπτύξουν την επιχείρησή τους, να αναβαθμίσουν τα πλοία τους και να προσαρμόσουν τις στρατηγικές τους στις μεταβαλλόμενες συνθήκες του εξωτερικού περιβάλλοντος. Ενώ παίζουν το παιχνίδι, οι παίκτες θα εξερευνήσουν το σύμπαν του θαλάσσιου εμπορίου, θα αποκτήσουν μια αίσθηση για τους μηχανισμούς και την ιστορική του εξέλιξη κ.α. Όλα τα εργαστήρια είναι με δωρεάν συμμετοχή, με την εθελοντική προσφορά γραφικής ύλης η οποία θα δοθεί για τη στήριξη των αναγκών του Συλλόγου «Ορίζοντας».
