In an abstract and poetic form, the film tells us the true and dramatic story of a Chinese girl named Lorna (my Grandmother), an Irish soldier named Steve, and their daughter. The story is told in the form of a fable. At the beginning of the story, Lorna, a red-crowned crane, meets Steve, a gray crane who is passing through Hong Kong with his flock of birds. The two fall in love, but when Steve's flock of birds moves on, he leaves Lorna and their egg unprotected. Lorna then goes in search of him. The egg is now completely alone, and a lizard threatens to eat it. Contrary to its nature, however, the lizard decides to take care of the helpless egg.

But one flames likes to play with fire and rebels against the system. ----- In a small town inhabited by lightbulbs, a big public birthday party is taking place. It's an initiation ritual for small flames. A glass bulb is placed on them, so that they can shine forever. This means they are adults and are a part of the lightbulb community. But eternal life isn't for free. The last flame in the row notices that with every new adult, candles on a cake are dying out. He points this out to the flames before him. One flame decides to take off its bulb and keep its candle alive, but it dies out trying this. The last flame isn't waiting for anyone, he grabs his last candle and he runs home. He meets his mother at home. She tries to convince it to give lightbulbs a chance. The mother is a lightbulb herself and she tries to stop her child. But the flame isn't listening to her and runs away. Lightbulbs follow him as he runs away from the town and continues its rampage. Anything he sees, he sets it on fire. The mother is worried about him. When it starts raining, she sneaks out of the town and saves her child right before he dies out completely. When Flame wakes up, he's a lightbulb. His mother calms him down and sits him down at the table. She brings out a birthday cake and she shows Flame that he can light the candles when nobody's looking. And that he can take off his bulb only for a second. One by one, they light all the candles.

Fall of light is a part of 6_years old girl,s life. she losts her family during the war and her mother was forced to hide her in a sewage canal.
Due to the intense and chronic psychological pressures She had suffered from severe mental stress and saw the events of the world around her with revery and hallucination.

2. The Last Line, Greece, Io Andrikopoulou, 4:13

War is a dark part of the human history. Within a war, there is the front line, where individuals stand in the field of battle against the enemy. However, war transcends the battlefield, leaving behind a 'last line' ,the children and the people who remain behind, the civilians.
Through this title, 'The Last Line', the film examines the importance of the war's final line. It primarily focuses on the roles of children and the experiences of those who are confronted with war. The title also serves as a reminder of the significance that we should recognize and address the long-term effects of war on children. It calls on the audience to consider their role in mitigating and addressing the terrors of war.

Presentation of the comic book "The dead brother" by Eva Poulopoulou

The philologist Anna Lampardakis and the creator of the comic Eva Poulopoulou talk about the original comic "Tou nekro brodrou", the most popular folk song and its composition in a comic. Narrated by actress Marinella Vlahaki. The folk song Tou Nekrou Aderfou is one of the oldest narrative songs of the Balkans with its origins lost in the depths of the centuries. It was sung in versions with a single theme based on the common roots of the peoples of the region, defying physical borders and cultural differences. Timeless ideas such as the sanctity of the oath, the power of the lament and the curse, perceptions of life in the outback, but also magical elements such as the resurrection and talking birds, compose a haunting, fascinating tale. Enjoy it in a work that combines the richness of folk tradition and the singularity of folk song language, with the contemporary, direct and intimate visual language of comic books.
