Playing out a maritime history of the Mediterranean in the 19th century

Theatre Mikis Theodorakis

The game "SeaLiT – Mediterranean ships and trade in the long 19th century" is a fun and educational journey into the world of maritime history in the Mediterranean and Black Sea during the 19th century, i.e. from the French Revolution to the First World War, as defined by historian Eric Hobsbawm. In the game, players take on the role of shipowners who must develop their business, upgrade their ships, and adapt their strategies to changing external conditions. While playing the game, players will explore the world of maritime trade, gain an understanding of its mechanisms and historical development, and more.
All workshops are free to attend, with voluntary donations of stationery to support the needs of the Horizon Association.
